The material is wonderful because it never looses it's shape. If you are a wearer of hats and wear them hard, I highly recommend these instead of felt and or other material for everyday use.

These hats look like quality straw, but they're actually made from polypropylene. They look and feel great and really hold their shape. I dropped one in a nasty puddle. After a quick hand wash, it was spotless. Be advised that the white is a pure white; not a natural straw look. If there were a natural color, I'd buy another of these fedoras.
