These socks are on the thicker side, very soft, very colorful, and they are so far holding up well to washing. There was an earlier review that said they were not thick enough for boots. I don't wear boots, so I don't know what is needed there. But these are very nice, thick, warm socks. I really like them a lot and I'm glad I got them.

I just got these today and I have to say, I am disappointed with the product. The description implies there is substantial thickness to these socks but if you are wanting something that will take up room in a boot that is a bit too big these are not going to do the job. I can buy socks thicker than these at the local "discount store" that are a lot cheaper. If you're just wanting something cute then by all means buy these but if you DO need something to take up space look elsewhere.
